Linkblogging today.
-Well, it wasn’t like I was ever going to pitch something to Tokyopop anyway… Be sure to click through and read all those links.
-Those horror guys, they really know how to set up a blogosphere. The League of Tana Tea Drinkers, an all-star horror crew including Sean Collins, Stacie Ponder, and Curt Purcell, and around a dozen others. I just added the whole lot to my greader. Via the cooler-than-being-cool Groovy Age’s first post in his series on Supernatural Horror.
-Guillermo Del Toro and Peter Jackson have done a marathon Q+A at Weta – Plok, this ties in exactly what we were talking about how filmmaking is changed, and Guillermo is like the gold standard for special effects these days. Especially saying he prefers physical sets and effects on freaking Weta’s website. How can you not respect that?!
Those movies are gonna kick ass.
-Mark has a larger version of that Minutemen picture from Watchmen. Now you can stare at Carla Gugino for reals. Hey, Zack Snyder – can you release that James Jean-doing-Vargas painting of Silk Spectre to the internet please? I remember it looking really awesome. Rich also has a side-by-side comparison to Dave Gibbons original pages.
-And finally, I’ve been listening to the Kleptones mashup masterwork double-album 24 Hours again as of late. And it’s still free on their site. Go download it.
Okay, back to Venice. Gotta watch out for razorblade wielding midgets.
