Over at Comics Alliance, I’ve written a piece about pacing, editing and layout in Frank Miller’s Dark Knight Returns, called “Away From Human Memory“. This entirely rose out of a conversation on twitter, thanks to Andy Khouri for getting me to expand it into an article and David Brothers for his help as a sounding board. Happy with this one, at least until I re-read it and decide I missed the mark. And yeah, I’m really happy I got to use that title.
