Over at the Factual Opinion, the latest episode of Travis Bickle on the Riviera is up – this week’s episode is entitled “Sandy Beaches, Sandy Bullock”. Discussed in this episode – Pauline Kael’s Library of America collection, The Blind Side, Cowboy Bebop: The Movie, the Upright Citizens Brigade sketch film Martin & Orloff, The Man From Nowhere, Takashi Miike’s Hara-Kiri, and Robert Wise’s The Set-Up. I spend way too much time talking about how Sandra Bullock is a racist, Tucker talks about why he doesn’t give a shit about anime, and we get around to discussing some stuff we liked. I do feel bad that the Martin & Orloff section got cut because of technical issues, because Tucker had a great joke that was just killed by our internet connections, but other than that, this is a fun one.
